A warm and busy family on the Upper West Side is seeking a reliable, proactive, organized and meticulous Full-Time Domestic Worker to help manage their home and support their two children, a 9 and 12 years old.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM (with flexibility to stay late when needed)

Salary:

$35 (DOE)

 Responsibilities include:

• Full housekeeping of a large apartment
• Detail-oriented cleaning, including deep cleaning and organizing
• Laundry, ironing and steaming clothes
• Family-style cooking healthy dinners and following recipes
• Organizing & cleaning pantry/refrigerator
• Running errands, grocery shopping, packing
• Assisting with after-school activities and routines
• Providing a positive presence in the home – someone who genuinely likes children
• Must like cats, light pet care

Ideal candidate:

• Energetic and pleasant personality
• Has common sense, good judgment, strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Proactive, dependable, able to take initiative, and is comfortable with change in a busy household
• Experience in similar roles preferred and looking for a long term job
