A private NYC-based family is seeking a highly skilled and discreet Full-time Driver/Security professional with a law enforcement, military, or executive protection background. This role requires extensive knowledge of NYC, Long Island, and Teterboro Airport, and involves driving principals to school, meetings, airport, and appointments. Must be pet-friendly, professional, and low-profile.

(Police / Military Background Required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport principals and family on a daily basis
• Coordinate with staff to accommodate dynamic schedules
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and service records
• Monitor and ensure up-to-date insurance, registration, and inspections
• Anticipate and adapt to route changes and real-time security concerns
• Communicate with FBO/private aviation teams for flight movements
• Work closely with second driver to ensure seamless coverage
• Assist with occasional errands or ad hoc requests

Requirements:

• 10+ years in law enforcement, military, or executive protection
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Fluent English; legal to work in the U.S.
• Experience with defensive/offensive driving techniques
• CPR/AED/First Aid certified (or willing to certify)
• Knowledge of security systems is a plus +++
• Able to stand for long periods and remain alert

Schedule: 5 days flex (40-50 hrs)
Location: New York City + Bridgehampton (Summers)
Compensation: $60-$80 p/hr (DOE) /Full Benefits/Bonus
