Seeking an experienced Junior Caretaker / Houseman for a formal private residence in Greenwich, CT. This is a live-out position for a hands-on, service-oriented professional comfortable with both estate maintenance and guest-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

•Perform general handyman and light maintenance duties

•Maintain outdoor furniture, light fixtures, and planters

•Clear walkways and outdoor areas of debris (snow, leaves, etc.)

•Conduct routine inspections of household mechanical systems

•Understand and monitor control panels and system functions

•Assist housekeeping staff with heavy-duty cleaning

•Greet and receive guests professionally

•Work closely with the chef on kitchen operations

•Set and serve dinner in a formal dining environment

•Drive the principal or staff and run errands as needed

•Provide wine service; knowledge of wine varietals required

Requirements (Minimum 3+ years of experience in a formal private home)

•Strong handyman skills and mechanical aptitude

•Pet-friendly (small dogs in the home)

•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

•Professional demeanor and attention to detail
